We can't do anything about the actions of others, but we certainly can do something about ours. I agree with Rob's suggestions that people not further pervert the local culture. I'll be observing/participating in the Dia de los Muertos period in Guerrero's La Montaña region - in a pueblito outside Chilapa - and there'll be no candy for the kids in my bag. However, there'll be pozole and mezcal for the adults! Honor the traditions. That's the "lesson" for the day!
